Wireless Mouse works on Radio Frequencies which are transmitted from Mouse and received by USB Receiver. 


Mouse will be containing of one TRANSMITTER that transmitters the Radio signals to the receiver that is present in the USB which is directly connected to Desktop. It generally works on 2.4GHZ. Not only the wireless Mouse or Keyboard uses this Radio Frequency but Cordless mics and etc also uses the Radio Frequencies.
